About Loretta Muzondi

I am a young Social Sciences professional in posession of a Master’s in Development Planning and Management with a keen interest in social research and urban studies. I have experience in research proposal writing and conducting social research surveys, together with report writing and presentation. I also have experience in planning and managing community development projects. In addition to that, I have worked as an academic and enhanced my research skills through students' dissertation supervision. From that backdrop, I also obtained skills in lecture-facilitation and performance assessment for undergraduate classes in Urban Development and Spatial Development Planning. Hence, my passion for urban studies. Having been exposed so much to social research, since I did a Master’s by research, I have developed a deep and overwhelming passion for writing, in this regard I do have a track record of peer reviewed publications, whose context revolve around solving the socio-economic developmental challenges facing humanity in urban landscapes. Subsequently, my career prospects are embedded in social policy planning and research which aims to contribute towards promoting sustainable human development in urbanity. Hence, my philosophy is that through research and good governance in terms of community development; social development; economic development and improved urban policy making & implementation, despite the ever-changing dynamic developmental trends, equitable and sustainable development can be achieved.
