I am a dedicated strategist and leader with over 17 years of experience across the non-profit, government, and philanthropic sectors. My career is driven by a commitment to combat poverty through innovative policy advocacy, systems change, program development, strategic communications, and civic engagement. Currently, as Managing Director at Robin Hood, I lead the $25 million Mobility Learning and Action Bets (LABs) initiative, where I work to develop community-driven solutions that help lift families out of poverty. My role allows me to blend my passion for strategy development, operational optimization, and event coordination while fostering essential partnerships that drive real community impact. Previously, as Special Advisor for the Department of Social Services External Affairs team, I co-led political and community engagement strategies, helping to shape strategic communications that amplified the agency's mission. My experience spans community organizing, advocacy, consulting, law, and administration, all of which equip me with a holistic understanding to solve complex challenges. I’m known for translating visionary concepts into actionable strategies that propel organizations toward transformative outcomes. My leadership style is collaborative and service-oriented, prioritizing strong stakeholder relationships and team development. Drawing from my personal experience with poverty and inequality, I approach my work with deep empathy and a relentless commitment to creating equitable systems that support individual and community well-being. I am also a public speaker and facilitator, uniting diverse stakeholders around shared goals, particularly in the areas of poverty eradication, health disparities, community empowerment, and racial equity. Outside of work, I enjoy writing, nature photography, hiking, and rejuvenating spa trips. I bring humor and positive energy to everything I do, and I’m always looking for innovative ways to drive impactful social change.
