Lori Barrett is a leading expert in healthcare strategy and operations for physician, ambulatory, health plan and post-acute executives. She has demonstrated success in working with major healthcare and insurance systems throughout the U.S. by bringing a unique combination of business acumen, informatics expertise and clinical experience to her clients. She has successfully led clinical and professional business units in healthcare. Ms. Barrett has authored a number of widely recognized White Papers addressing the impact of payment and service delivery reforms on physician groups, ambulatory care organizations and post-acute providers. She is recently working on a number of clinical informatics indicators that are being used to support operational, revenue cycle, IT and strategic transformations in physician and ambulatory settings. She has developed numerous business plans and led the successful development of full-risk, capitated models of care for various organizations, including health plans, health systems, non-profit and independent entities. Ms. Barrett holds and Master’s Degree (MBA) in Organizational Design from Suffolk University and is a licensed registered nurse. She is a certified Executive Leadership Coach and a trained group facilitator. Prior to her consulting career, Ms. Barrett was the Chief Operating Officer for a multi-company Catholic health system in the northeast.
