I have worked in Mortgage Loan Servicing since 2007, before that I was a teller at a different bank, and before I made a switch to banking I worked in the food service industry for 7 years.I have done the following items while working in mortgage loans: Payoffs, Reconveyance of Deeds of Trusts, posting transactions, reconciling general ledgers, custom construction loans, researching a variety of things from transactions to going online to find old Deeds to confirm if they had been reconveyed, and answered customer calls. I also am well versed in comparing county property information to system, title policy, and deed information to ensure everything matches.While working full time I was able to attend college full time to earn my associates degree, most of my classes where online but there where a few that I had to attend early in the morning or late at night. I am the first one in my immediate family to obtain a college degree. My husband and I also recently built a house and we did what is called a shell home. A shell home is when the contractor completes the home to a certain point and then buyer completes the remaining items. My husband and I worked together to complete the following: dug and back-filled for the foundation, ran the main water line from the road to the home, installed the underground conduit for the electrical, installed all outlets, lights, baseboards, sinks, toilets, faucets, painted the interior and exterior of the home. We accomplished this while working our full time jobs and the home was completed before our 9 month construction loan term ended.
