About Lori Brown

I have been practicing law for over 20 years in the areas of business and employment law. I am committed to giving my clients individualized and prompt attention. Over the years my practice has included representing both employers and employees in lawsuits. Thus, I have the unique ability of understanding both sides of an employment dispute since I have been on both sides of the table. For my business clients, I regularly advise business owners on all types of employment issues such as employment and independent contractor agreements, absenteeism and medical leave issues, unemployment matters, and wage and hour issues. I have represented employers in many lawsuits such as those involving non-compete agreements, discrimination, retaliation, hostile environment, sexual harassment, as well as breach of contract matters. I also regularly advise and represent business clients in commercial litigation matters. I obtained my undergraduate degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
