What sets me apart from all other Director of Operations candidates are two words: I care. I have a record of outstanding success in the complete process of procurement though the distribution of inventory for fast-paced organizations. My over twenty-five years of experience has encompassed all aspects of operations. Of particular interest would be the following: • Collaborated with Engineering and Analog Production teams to optimize the productivity of the robot line, successfully increasing hourly clock production from 44 to 83. • Actively improved inventory management system (Fishbowl) and identified/implemented new NETSTOCK demand/replenishment software coupled with establishing a SIOP process to improve communication and planning within the team and the company as a whole at Crazy Aaron’s Enterprises. • Discovering opportunities, even if outside of my responsibilities, is normal practice for me. One such example is when I identified inbound freight improvement needs at Turn5 that resulted in saving of ~$360K per year. • I have considerable expertise in reducing costs by streamlining operations & improving workflow process to enhance gross profit, turns, fill rates, & etc. In particular, I restructured the resource distribution process for VWR to ensure proper allocation of resources and on time / accurate deliveries. • With my overall desire to organize – I quickly take the lead with establishing processes that “get it right the first time, every time”. From my first experiences at Tessco with taking on the role of quality assurance manager during their ISO certification implementation to my experience with Lean Six Sigma through the integration of an acquired company that uses this data-driven discipline. I am able to take my numerous systematized skills and deliver quality professional results time after time. • My ability to evaluate issues in order to efficiently identify gaps and areas that need improvement is second to none. Specifically, I have created, from the ground up, a blow-out management process, a vendor compliance program, an inbound priority method & a constant company-wide returns practice. I believe one person can make a tremendous difference… a difference in bottom-line profitability, a difference in the morale and development of staff, and a difference in relationships with both internal and external customers and suppliers.
