About Lori Eckstine-Barker

I've been at NIH for 35 years and have done everything from processing personnel actions, Master Level Firefighting, Program Support, Security Emergency Response Administrative Officer, and Program Specialist. I currently am the Program Specialist for the Division of Fire and Rescue Services, Security Emergency Response at the NIH. I process and review all purchasing, timekeeping, travel, training, HR actions, manage the budget, and all DFRS property. I have 8 years of combat medic experience with the United States Army Reserve. I also volunteer at Myersville Volunteer Fire Department. I have two years of Spanish and Spanish for health care providers and college credits in health and physical education. Im a Maryland certified EMT and fire officer level 3. Scuba diver certified. In my free time I enjoy traveling to places I've never been, hiking the Appalachian Trail, biking the C and O canal, playing golf, Breweries, spending time with family and friends. I am married and have three children. One of which is Autistic.
