About Lori Gauvreau

As a Senior Marketing, Communications, and Outreach Manager for Schlumberger I developed and cultivated extensive global networks in the carbon capture and storage (CCS) field. I have partnered with communications, public education, and engagement teams throughout the world including work on numerous CCS projects in Canada, United States, England, Germany, Norway, and Australia. My roles included in-depth reviews of technical papers, reports, government proposals, and presentations as well as authoring and co-authoring several technical papers and maintaining continued development of community outreach, engagement, and education material and documentation for early demonstration CCS projects. I enjoyed being a part of all of the CCS teams that evolved during the inception and creation of published information sheets, best practices, informative posters, presentations, case studies, and web content for public and technical audiences. From 2010 to 2014 I was an invited mentor and presenter at the International Energy Agency - Greenhouse Gas (IEAGHG) International CCS Summer School presenting and mentoring 50+ PhD students from around the world each year at week long summer schools held in various countries.
