About Lori Gregory

My over 32 year practice has been devoted to Elderlaw, estate and trust planning and administration, estate and income taxation, estate and trust litigation, prenuptial agreements and adoption (representing both adopting parents and birthparents). Encompassed within the area of Elderlaw is assisting clients with long-term care planning (including Medicaid qualification issues), qualifying for VA Benefits (such as housebound and aid and attendance benefits), special needs trusts, planning for incapacity, guardianships and conservatorships, and nursing home rights. I also routinely draft and implement sophisticated estate tax savings vehicles such as family partnerships, insurance trusts, charitable trusts, children’s/grandchildren’s gifting trusts, and qualified personal residence trusts. Supporting and advising clients with estate and trust administration when a loved one dies, including assisting with complex tax issues and advising them of and helping enforce their rights in blended family or second marriage cases, also constitutes a significant portion of my practice.
