About Lori H.

A customer acquisition and digital marketing specialist in Atlanta. I have been in sales for over 30 years and my experience has taken me around the world. I’m always on the move, coming up with creative marketing strategies to help my clients keep their pipeline full. I graduated from Georgia Tech with a B.S. in Computer Science which helped me land my first job implementing financial software systems for clients such as Northern Telecom. A few years later I was managing projects from Miami to New York and had the opportunity to open our Asia Pacific practice, headquartered in Sydney, Australia. I lived in Sydney and Hong Kong for 12 years, after becoming the Asia Sales Director for two wireless telecom software companies. After 12 years overseas, I returned to Atlanta to be a partner in a startup, L2C, where I was Vice President for Sales and Marketing until 2008 when I decided that it was time to start something new: A Local Buzz. A Local Buzz is a boutique Digital Marketing firm specializing in customer acquisition through Social Media Marketing and Paid Advertising Campaigns - we create a buzz for you in your marketplace. I believe we could solve our country's challenges by getting our people healthy. Sports, fitness and health are not only hobbies for me. I'm a lifelong endurance athlete who has competed in marathons and Ironman races across the globe- even winning some of them! From college when I baked my own breads to recently as Director at Brookhaven Farmers Market, prioritizing health has become second nature. When it comes to business growth strategies: if I can contribute by helping Health and Wellness professionals expand their practice- all while staying true to myself, then I will consider A Local Buzz to be successful.
