About Lori Harrow

As a Counselor, Director, and Supervisor, I strive to help others thrive! Counseling Services: I love helping others and work with a wide range of clients - both adolescents and adults - who are struggling with difficult issues. My experience includes work with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, trauma, relationship issues, grief & loss, life transitions, LGBTQIA+, and caregiver needs. I also enjoy group work and workshop development with an emphasis on helping others move toward a life that matters. The therapeutic relationship is key in helping clients move toward growth, and I put an emphasis on making connections. I believe in integrated care for clients and provide support and resources for the best possible outcome. Coaching Services: Life transitions present challenges and opportunities. I help clients identify what they want in this next chapter and create the plan and actions needed to get there. My expertise includes work with the following transitions: returning to work after a long absence; mid-life reinvention; loss of job; divorce; moving to a new home/place; loss of a loved one; and retirement. Supervision services: As a NC licensure board supervisor for provisional counselors, I have the opportunity to guide, mentor, and support new counselors in the profession. I love sharing my experience and knowledge to help others succeed. This service allows me to offer new counselors the critical supervision needed for full licensure, as well as offer employers an experienced clinician who can provide inhouse supervision to others. My life experience adds valuable insight with clients, and aides my ability to develop relationships, empower clients, listen effectively, and instill hope. I am fortunate to have a career history that includes strong skills in community relations, presentation abilities, promotions and public relations. My professional goal is to help others thrive. It's important to me to continue growing and to meet the challenges and needs of my clients.
