About Lori Kangun

I have had an interesting and varied career path. I have worked in both the private and public sector in several different industries - Logistics, Financial Services/Insurance, and Civil Engineering. The common thread in my professional endeavors is a love of critical thinking and problem-solving. Data is my thing! I am able to use the analytical skills I learned as a Professional Engineer and apply them across many situations. Read my page for all my professional experiences! On a personal note, what is life without music? I think that Exile on Main Street is the best album ever recorded; Guy Clark is the best songwriter (followed by Ray Wylie Hubbard), and I can listen to Lightnin' Hopkins for 8 straight hours at a time (he is brilliant!), which can challenge those around me if I don't have headphones. I love kayaking, hiking, and dancing, and I think dogs are a gift to unworthy humans :) I believe that chips and salsa can serve as a complete and satisfying meal at any time of day. Finally, back to the professional (if you're still reading): I am a detail-oriented creative thinker and enjoy problem-solving, both independently and collaboratively; I have excellent organizational skills; I love to examine data for trends and actionable insights; I learn and adapt quickly; I am comfortable in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
