About Lori Kmec

Lori is a member of AmTrust's U.S. Business Legal Team. With over 14 years of legal and insurance industry experience, she is responsible for providing legal support to all of AFSI's North American businesses, including North American Commercial P&C (Specialty Insurance, Small Commercial, Cyber, Agency Services), North American Warranty & Specialty Risk, Surety, Reinsurance, Bermuda, and Mexico. In addition to providing legal support and guidance on all aspects of AFSI's North American business operations, Lori acts as AFSI's North American businesses' liaison for the Legal Department's regulatory, litigation and mergers and acquisitions units. Lori is a member and contributing guest speaker of internal employee networks, including the Women's network, Young Professionals network, and the "Thirst for Knowledge" program. Lori is also active in several industry associations, including the Service Contract Industry Council, the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, and the Association of Corporate Counsel. Before joining AmTrust, Lori was a litigator in private practice, representing hospitals, physicians, and other health care providers in medical malpractice actions. Lori also has experience representing clients in international trade compliance and utilities regulation matters.
