About Lori Lane

My professional objective is to work for a school system that values a collaborative style of leadership in order to work toward and reach their established mission and vision. I have spent my entire professional career in various aspects of public education. I have fourteen years of experience as a guidance counselor, having worked at all grade levels, Pre-K through 12. Additionally, I worked for a year as a 21st Century Learning Communities grant and project manager and have spent 12 years as a high school administrator. I recently finished nine years in the Somersworth School District, eight of those years were as a district level administrator. Throughout my career, I have been recognized as very hard working, detail-oriented, and having the ability to organize my work in order to accomplish stated goals. Though I possess a number of professional skills, I believe my greatest strength is my ability to evaluate educational systems in order to create and implement change to strengthen the infrastructure. Additionally, I have a strong desire to strengthen schools so that they will work effectively in the best interest of both the students we are charged with educating as well as for the faculty and staff that work there.
