About Lori M. Goerlich

Working to build a better Saint Louis through public infrastructure and open space projects, developed with collaboration, public engagement, grants and partnerships, to improve the quality of life, economic vitality and transportation options for all citizens and visitors to our City. I have been lucky in my career to experience the "8 to 80" philosophy in action, and equitable project planning. These have assisted City leaders and developers in creating pedestrian-centric spaces and successful community-specific programming within the public realm. The result is stronger neighborhoods, local economy's, and increased quality of life noticeable by locals, visitors and the business community alike. I encourage the installation of interactive and environmental art when opportunities arise, and outdoor education/programming for all abilities and interests to increase sense of place and engagement with our City's landscapes and public spaces. I hold extensive experience in park, public space and greenway planning, assessment, design and development for regional and neighborhood scale projects with a passion for urban environments. Working to develop, activate and animate the public realm is a great place to be.
