About Lori Mayeda

As you go through life, you develop skills from various aspects and times in your life. These are a few key skills that have been particularly instrumental in the development of my strong work-ethic. ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND ORGANIZATION: As a team manager and board representative for my child’s club sport’s teams, I honed my meticulous attention to detail and critical organizational skills. CUSTOMER SERVICE: My years of working in a department store showed me the importance of providing excellent customer service and how to communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds. PATIENCE: In 2004, my husband and I founded and grew a Judo dojo from scratch. Through this opportunity, I’ve earned my black belt and have almost two decades of experience assisting in judo classes. Working with the kids has taught me patience and that people learn in different ways and different speeds. I was a stay-at-home mom for several years and have worked full time for a while. These past experiences have undoubtedly supported me in the field today. I know how to adaptively support and lead a team, communicate effectively, and remain calm and organized under pressure. My recent experience revolves around data collection, formatting, and analysis of energy data. Within my current role, I also manage on-boarding processes, customer support and accounting department inquiries. I'm grateful for any life experiences as you never know when something you learn, or experience today will benefit you in the future.
