As the Executive Director of Health and Wellness, I am responsible for all of the operational functions of the organization with a combined budget of $6 million. Annually, I prepare budgets and manage resources for four units that comprise the Health & Wellness department. My current position requires long-term and short-term strategic planning for the unit which integrates with the mission and vision of the university. Some of the key programming initiatives implemented under my guidance include: two major construction projects that merged employee and student health services, chaired the task force that developed a faculty/staff wellness initiative known as AggieFit, utilized the national college health assessment and internal survey to launch Healthy Campus 2020. I was responsible for the full integration of medical and mental health services on campus into the Aggie Health & Wellness Center.
