About Lori Orr

I am honored to be back at Cancer Support Community. I actually started my career in cancer care administration right here 30 years ago, when CSC was The Wellness Community and I was Lori Lawson. Since then I served as COO of Diablo Valley Oncology & Hematology Medical Group for 21 years, and more recently as Executive Director of Cancer Services at John Muir Health for 2 1/2 years. I am passionate about ensuring exceptional care for people with cancer and their loved ones. It is a privilege to care for people at a time in their lives when they need help the most. I am deeply appreciative of CEO, Rob Tufel and the CSC Board of Directors for having me back to help support CSC's mission, participants, volunteers and staff. Cancer Support Community is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We support people facing cancer in our community to become healthier, live longer, and live better through our comprehensive program of psychosocial support, education, and lifestyle improvement classes. All our services are provided free of charge thanks to generous grants and donations from foundations, corporations and individuals.
