I have nearly two decades of extensive experience in project and event management, with a strong focus on content and strategic engagement. Throughout my career, I've held key leadership roles that have allowed me to drive impactful initiatives. As the Director of Event Content and Strategic Engagement at the Path to Purchase Institute, I spearheaded efforts to create dynamic and engaging event content. This involved developing and executing strategic plans, overseeing day-to-day operations of programs and events, and leading education and audience recruitment teams. My ability to establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders has been crucial in achieving successful outcomes. Prior to that, as the Head of Meeting Innovation at Meeting Professionals International, I led the charge in redefining how meetings are conducted. I'm proud to have developed and implemented innovative strategies that have transformed the landscape of meetings and events. This role also afforded me the opportunity to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, ensuring that our endeavors consistently met and exceeded financial targets. My expertise extends to crafting compelling agendas, identifying and securing expert speakers, hosting engaging content tracks and segments, and analyzing audience metrics and survey results. These efforts have empowered me to curate events that are not only informative but also aligned with the preferences and desires of our audience. Educationally, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Communication from the esteemed University of North Florida, and I further honed my skills with a Master of Meeting and Event Management from San Diego State University. In addition to my academic achievements, I am certified in Meeting Management (CMM), Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Healthcare Meeting Compliance Certificate (HMCC), and Virtual Event and Meeting Management Certificate (VEMM). These certifications underscore my commitment to staying at the forefront of industry trends and best practices. Beyond my professional endeavors, I dedicate my time to volunteer work with organizations such as Fostering Connections, Belles and Beaus of the River, Meeting Professionals International, and the St. Johns County Arts, Culture, and Heritage Funding Panel. These efforts allow me to give back to the community and contribute to causes that align with my values.
