Knowledge of administrative principles and practices, knowledge of office procedures and practices such as using a copier and fax machine, knowledge of methods of data collection, knowledge of principles and techniques of effective communication both orally and in writing, ability to prepare correspondence in word and administrative reports in excel such as grant transfer requests and grant reconciliation, ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures, Ability to utilize problem-solving techniques, Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and coordinate work assignments, Ability to work extended hours (12 hour shifts) on nights or weekends during emergency activation and be able and willing to be deployed up to 14 days in response to disasters with little or no notice.
