Being able to work in a job that ignites something in me to do more, be more and impact more is a joy!I've been fortunate to find these opportunities in my career, even from my very first job at the A&W as a teenager.Everyone should at some point in their life work in a front-line customer service position. At the front counter you experience people at their best, and worst. You learn the art of conflict resolution. You learn about the importance of listening to others. You learn that asking someone "if they want fries with that" is not just about increasing sales - or a poor joke - its related to making that small interaction with a customer as fulfilling as it can be. And you learn that if people say 'no mustard' they mean NO mustard!Each job I have had has made me appreciate the work required to 'get it right' and the people for whom the work is their passion. I have had great mentors.My goal in any job I undertake is to make sure the I am doing my best to make a positive difference - to the corporate bottom line, to my team and to each individual client or customer.Whether they want mustard. or not.
