Inquisitive by nature, I have dedicated my life and career to asking questions and seeking better ways of doing things. I thrive on exploring processes and crafting efficient solutions, always with a focus on agility. Early on in my journey, I encountered the groundbreaking work of W. Edward Deming, and it ignited my passion for continuous improvement practices. I have successfully automated data movement, streamlined manual processes, and revolutionized reporting for production accounting and FDC results. Notably, one of my applications effectively addressed the complex challenge of circular movements in field transfers, involving tens of thousands of truck tickets. Throughout my career, I have gained invaluable experience in various facets of the oil and gas accounting industry, having worked with both small and large companies. A trailblazer in the adoption of technology, I have consistently excelled in creating and enhancing processes that drive efficiency. As a Senior Production Accountant I perform the role of Team Lead, overseeing the PA group. My responsibilities include reviewing revenue and royalties, as well as completing accounting system setups such as production, royalty, and facility charges per service agreements. I am also involved in Property and AR reviews, Special Projects as needed, and collaborate with the JV Senior Accountant on Production/Revenue Audits. Ensuring ongoing communication with the VP Finance & Controller, I keep them informed of ongoing items, issues, accomplishments, and project status updates. In addition, I take pride in supporting and serving other team members, leading by example and providing mentorship and training to team members when needed. I diligently uphold compliance with all government requirements, ensuring due diligence in maintaining alignment. Other responsibilities within my role include: o Metrix support – review, setup, trouble shoot issues etc o Royalty support- includes review and setup o Marketing Accounting – Marketing month end payments o EPAP and other Compliance o Delineations working with Measurement and team o Audits – assist with production/revenue audits o System Conversions – testing, P2-Metrix o A&D – review when asked / Metrix changes and updates, AR Clearing and providing some FSOA items related to Revenue etc. o Month End Roll – Metrix System o ETS Submissions - Backup o Amalgamations – Owner Update Process in Metrix o Cash Requirement reports for both Royalty & Crown cheque runs o Petrinex Systems – Administrator
