About Lorrel Plimier

As a Piedmont City Council Member, I believe that governments have a responsibility to build trust. What does trust mean to me? It means leaders who engage with community members, practice good governance, use sound judgment when making decisions, and prioritize fiscal responsibility that leads to financial stability. As the mom of a third-generation Piedmont family, I care deeply about our city and the issues that face our community. I’d like to think that one day, one of my kids might come back to raise a family here, too. I am honored to continue the work of Council members who have come before me as a good steward of the city. As a business owner and in my work in the nonprofit sector, I have a history of thinking strategically, identifying innovative solutions, and pushing against the status quo. I think critically about whether the current way of doing business is effective. If it is, great! If not, let’s do something to change it! I have an analytical and data hungry mind. I make decisions with common sense and ethics at the forefront.
