About Lorri Garrett

I am currently the Site Coordinator at a TK-8 public Montessori School in Oakland, CA. I manage the day to day operations including attendance reporting, food services, independent studies, parent volunteer commities, health administration and records. My other focus has been organizing and running the ELPAC and CAASPP State testing of students. Previously, I was supporting Elementary classrooms with student learning and daily school routines and procedures as well as database management of lessons and records. Previously, I was an Independent Contractor teaching over 600 students in Alameda how to grow and cook organic food while respecting the environment through sustainable practices encouraging a generation of new environmentalists. I worked with K-8th-grade students teaching science, nutrition, and art in the garden. I was also helping additional schools to develop their garden and environmental science programs. Prior to teaching, I worked in the Financial Services industry in Administration, Operations, and Sales.
