About Loryn Casas

Currently, I work as a technical writer at nCino. As a technical writer, I write documentation such as getting started guides, user guides, installation guides, release notes, and product copy. I support multiple scrum teams with release updates and new documentation on a monthly basis. I worked as an educator for five years in the New Hanover County public school system. As an educator, I developed the skills necessary to manage my classroom, collaborate and design curriculum, conduct professional development presentations, and edit and write grant documents. While working as a grant proposal editor, I refined the skills learned throughout my undergraduate studies in editing, professional writing, and design. I revised grant proposals for the STEM education team, assisted with conducting meetings on drafting grant proposals, researched and created annotated bibliographies on STEM topics, and designed the webpage on the faculty’s grant writing page working with the UNCW IT team. I enjoy being creative with my work, solving problems, and facilitating learning.
