About Lotta Lavonen

Master of Laws and Bachelor of Political Science (Hons) graduate with professional experience in Law, Customer Due Diligence, Corporate Affairs and Consulting. She is currently working at HPP Attorneys, as an M&A Associate. In her role she is also advising clients in matters relating to corporate and contract law. She has previous experience in global pharmaceuticals transactions from her role as Business Development Associate at Shadow Lake Group, an experienced boutique investment banking firm. Additionally, she has experience from organising and coordinating administrative duties as well as legal research from Synbio Powerlabs as Director of Corporate Affairs. She also has knowledge of Customer Due Diligence from her experience at Adyen, a leading international Payments Provider. In her role as CDD analyst, she was responsible for monitoring and analysing Enhanced Due Diligence procedures along with contributing to operational scalability and supporting automation of workflows. In her studies she focused on Corporate Law with a complementary Swedish language track. Additionally, she gained interdisciplinary knowledge from a highly ranked political science program from where she has detailed insights from International Relations, specifically from Conflict and Peace Studies that her thesis covered. She also completed a global exchange program at the University of Connecticut with hands on experience from consulting at the well-recognised UConn Consulting Group. She is passionate about corporate and financial law, leveraging knowledge through her international insights and expertise. Very much looking forward to connecting and meeting with like-minded people.
