Building on a strong foundation of studying accounting and finance in high school, I began my career with Envirotech Drilling, gaining invaluable, hands-on experience in the drilling industry through a FIFO roster role. This position immersed me in the operational side of the business, exposing me to the unique challenges of remote work and requiring meticulous attention to planning, logistics, and collaboration in high-stakes, high-pressure environments. My time on-site taught me resilience, adaptability, and problem-solving skills, while giving me a firsthand understanding of the financial and operational demands behind large-scale projects. Driven by a growing passion for finance, I pursued a degree in accounting and finance at Curtin University, graduating with honors. During this time, I worked as a tax accountant, managing tax returns, preparing financial statements, and delivering a wide range of business services for an extensive clientele, spanning from large consolidated groups to sole traders. This experience enabled me to guide clients on cash flow management, budgeting, compliance, and business growth strategies. Through this work, I refined my analytical skills and gained a comprehensive view of financial operations across various industries and client profiles. I ultimately returned to Envirotech Drilling in an analyst role, where I now oversee and manage the company’s financial functions and forecasting. By combining my practical on-site experience with my expertise in finance, I am able to deliver strategic financial insights and develop robust plans that enhance the company’s operational efficiency and support its long-term growth.
