About Louis Karsch

KIT Class of 2023, Msc Industrial Engineering and Management - Emphasis in Business Data Analytics I am an experienced employee in project management and consulting leveraging data-driven decision making, learned throughout my time at Bosch, Mercedes, Porsche, PwC, Welldium and mm1 as well as my studies at the KIT and UGA (Terry College of Business). My work at the PwC Advisory department introduced me to the idea of working as a consultant. I learned about the entire process of a client project from proposal to project handover and was able to execute the core analysis, and shape project team meetings as well as the final project handover. In my time at Welldium I experienced being able to impact the future of a business in its very beginning. As part of a team of seven co-workers, I improved my project management skills by conducting growth experiments while developing an eye for relevant internal improvements that I executed on (using Excel and SalesForce). I have also had the opportunity to work as a Product Management intern at Mercedes and Porsche. This experience aided in my greater understanding of the automotive industry, digital services and the fundamental transformation it is going through. Furthermore, I have improved my knowledge of Python, Google Analytics and advanced Excel which I leveraged in my analysis and recommendations. My coursework at the KIT as well as the Terry College of Business has prepared me for a role in consulting by teaching analytical skills, project management as well as systems such as advanced Excel, Java, SQL, Python, R, AnyLogic and Celonis. I am eager to continuously learn, grow and shape the future of the digital business!
