About Louis Williams

An experienced environmental and sustainability professional, passionate about helping businesses reduce their environmental impact and implement more sustainable practices into everyday operations. With a strong background in environmental strategy, performance reporting, and project delivery, I bring both analytical thinking and a hands-on approach to managing change. I’m confident working independently or collaborating within cross-functional teams to attain results. I hold a First-Class Honours degree in Geography from the University of Chester, where I was awarded the Keith Hilton Prize for Geography in recognition of my academic excellence and research. In 2021, I joined Cranswick Gourmet Bacon as Site Environmental Coordinator, where I led initiatives to reduce emissions and improve environmental awareness in the meat production process. I managed the Environmental Management System, oversaw senior management reviews, and was the site lead for external audits, internal audits, and the implementation of the site’s Environment Permit. My work was recognised with a site GEM award and a nomination for the group finale. In late 2023, I completed the IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management (PIEMA), further strengthening my technical capabilities in sustainability leadership. After relocating to Melbourne, Australia in 2024, I joined TRILITY’s Training Services Team, developing industry-based water and environmental training resources aligned with the National Water Training Package. This involved working across course development, planning, delivery, and compliance. As of May 2025, I’ve stepped into a new role as Marketing and Communications Coordinator at TRILITY, supporting both internal and external communications and contributing to marketing efforts across all areas of the business.
