About Louisa Mitchell

West London Zone is charity working in one of the most unequal areas of England. Our vision is for a West London community working together to help all children to thrive. We find the children and young people who would most benefit from additional support, and help them to build the relationships and skills they need to get on track socially, emotionally and academically. We do this by building trusted relationships, providing specialist support and joining up each child's support system, including families, schools and local organisations, to deliver a personalised 2-year support plan for each child. The defining features of our model are our collective impact approach (including our collective impact bond to fund our work), our personalised way of working so that all the support is the best it can be for every child, and being data and evidence-led about everything we do. Prior to this, I have worked in a variety of roles in the private sector and the social sector and have a range of experience in finance, NGO management, journalism, policy and academic research.
