About Louise Labonte

As a career and technology studies teacher, my passion is empowering youth to build the skills needed to excel in life and the workplace. I enjoy working with students of all levels, whether starting with the basics and instilling a value of safety in students, demonstrating a new tool or skill, or providing essential pointers and guidance on how to behave in the workplace. I build student engagement by linking curriculum objectives to real-world challenges and opportunities. Helping students grow into conscientious, caring, and well-rounded young adults is what inspires me most. In each class, we find connections to the community, find ways to support local organizations, and contribute to building a stronger community. When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time outdoors. I love riding motorcycles, whether on a dirt trail or on the race track. As the summer fades, I round out my time outdoors with horseback riding, fly fishing, and mountain biking.
