Background
About Louise Weine
I drive systemic change for gender equity in operational industries. As CEO of NAWO (National Association of Women in Operations), I've grown the organisation from $85K to $981K in annual revenue while expanding our reach across Manufacturing, Mining, Supply Chain, Agriculture, Supply Chain, Transport, Warehousing, Energy and Professional Services sectors. Under my leadership, corporate membership has grown from 20 to 100 organisations, and we've supported over 1,400 women through our nationally recognised mentoring program. My approach is practical, not theoretical. With 26 years in operational HR and change management -including over a decade at Colgate-Palmolive leading supply chain HR and manufacturing transformations - I know that genuine culture change happens when organisational design and leadership behaviour align. I've negotiated enterprise agreements, closed facilities sensitively, built high-performance teams, and designed systems that value outcomes over presenteeism. At NAWO, I work with member organisations to turn insight into action. We don't just talk about barriers to women's advancement - we address them by supporting our members to take practical actions that count. We measure impact through our theory of change framework, and we engage 200+ volunteers annually to drive innovative programs, and create the conditions for gender-balanced leadership pipelines.I believe inclusive cultures aren't accidents - they're designed. Through strategic organisational design, behavioural change programs, and leadership at every level, we can build workplaces where high performance and life integration aren't competing priorities, where diverse teams drive innovation, and where productivity matters more than where or when work happens.I bring commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and a track record of delivering tangible outcomes. Whether facilitating change, coaching leaders, or building movements, I focus on the pragmatic actions within our control that create lasting change for current and future generations.Deputy Chair, Australian Gender Equality Council | Bachelor of Commerce, University of Melbourne | CEW Leaders Program Graduate | CAHRI | MAICD
