I started working in the Aerospace Industry in 2005 as a MRO buyer. I was successful in escalating to Raw Materials buyer within the first year, earning my first promotion and pay increases. After my first year as Materials Buyer, I accepted the Outside Process Coordinator position. Durning my 15 years in the Purchasing environment I maintained the on time delivery records, approved supplier lists. I formed relationships and negotiatiated lead times and improved cost savings. Using my bilingual abilities I was able to talk to shop employees and get help moving parts thru manufacturing. I worked for the same company thru 2 acquisitions. In 2019 I took a job opportunity at a smaller machine shop where I purchased raw materials for the aerospace and oil Industry and then pursued an opportunity as a Delivery Assurance Specialist, where I remotely work with companies to assure that parts meet on time delivery.
