Background
About Lowam Eyasu
My family and I migrated to this country when I was 2 years old from Eritrea, Africa. At 19 I put myself through college graduating from California State University Long Beach in 2010. After college I started a production company under the name of VktryCreative with my friends out of frustration in the entertainment industry. We focus on creating narrative content for women and women of color. It was here that I found my love for writing and have been writing since. Since then I have been commissioned to write two feature films and became a staff writer for a music blog. The blog focuses on cultural criticism in the hip-hop and R&B industry.
