I am a surgeon-teacher with a patient-centered approach to vein care that has enabled the creation and improvement of many of today’s most advanced noninvasive vascular surgery techniques. I was the first vascular surgeon in the United States to perform the VNUS Closure(tm)(radiofrequency ablation) procedure and the VenaCure EVLT(tm)(endovenus laser) procedure – two minimally invasive, breakthrough technologies for treating the underlying causes of many varicose vein problems. I treat patients in New York City at the NYU Vein Center and in Morristown, New Jersey and I also am an associate professor for NYU Langone Medical Center’s Division of Vascular Surgery and the Director of the ACP Phlebology Fellowship at NYU Langone Medical Center – the first program of its kind. Additionally, I hold editorial positions for the Journal of Phlebology, Journal of Certified Wound Specialists, Journal of Vascular Surgery and Vascular Surgery.
