Over 11 years of Experience as a Skilled Trades, Branch Business Manager & 2 yrs as a Client Field Service Manager. A demonstrated history of working in the staffing & recruiting industry. Skilled in Team Building, Technical Recruiting, Operations, Direct Placement, Sales Management, & Account Management. Prior to Trueblue I had 20 years Exp. with my personal tree service after spending 8 yrs in the logging industry, I successfully created my business, obtaining a C10 Contractors license. I took great pride in my work. I oversaw, directed & performed all aspects of the job, Climbing, Trimming, Removals & Groundwork. Performing, Sales, Safety Management & Training in the often dangerous field of Tree Service. Over the years I learned that No One Works Harder Than The Owner of a business & I have carried that motto with me into my management roles to set the example for my staff & associates. Prior to starting my business, I was enrolled for X-ray Tech & Medical Assistant in San Luis Obispo Ca. I had completed all courses except Skull & Physics & was doing my intern at a Med Stop in Grover Beach preparing for my state exams. I encountered & experienced everything from a simple cold to accidents causing Major Trauma. A life event stopped me from completing & I left school to address life issues with my Family. Before the logging industry I worked With Zacky Farms. It was my 1st major job as a young adult & gave me the opportunity to learn many different things in the field as far as management, atmosphere control, ordering & shipping/receiving, along with many aspects of the Ag Industry. After a year of hard work, long hours & proving myself, I was offered a ranch and promoted to Field Ranch Manager & worked for 2 more years while training a new Field Assistant. Over the years my work has always seemed to gravitate into Management Positions. I do my best to lead by example & wouldn't ask anything I wouldn't do myself. My hobbies are traveling & a love for nature & the outdoors. fishing, hunting, camping, or time at the beach. My photography & sketching ties it all together. I have a bucket list & have achieved quite a few items on my list in things to do & see. Skydiving was one of the most exhilarating things I've done to date on my list. But the work & patience of learning to tie my own flies & later at a creek/river landing a beautiful & elusive Golden Trout in the High Sierras with something I created was in itself, a very rewarding experience. Quite like starting or managing a business & watching it grow into something one can take great pride in.
