Background
About Lu Villa
I'm from Beijing, China. I started as an elementary teacher in Beijing, and transitioned to Middle school a few years after. I received my bachelors in education at the University of Science & Technology, Beijing. I came to the Bay Area in 2010 to study for my masters in education at Patten University. After I finished, I worked at Shuren International School until 2015, then I decided to start my own homeschooling and tutoring business in Oakland, Piedmont and Berkeley area as Mandarin Immersion. I’m a creative, organized teacher highly regarded for extensive experience in classroom administration, professional development, and project planning with 17 years experience of teaching, and 8 years of homeschool teacher. Proficient in core curriculum subjects including math, science, history and culture. Currently, I'm working on to get my CA teaching credential, I have passed all single subject Mandarin subtest 1,2,3 and CBEST math.
