About Lu Ying

I operate at the intersection of circular economy, business strategy, frontier tech, and systemic design. With nearly two decades of diverse experience across Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the U.S, I've acquired a unique blend of interdisciplinary expertise to lead innovative strategies in key supply chains responsible for half of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions. Over the past nine years, I’ve held multiple C-level roles, from startups to established businesses, leading change, strategy, expansion, and partnerships. I’ve co-founded two climate ventures and had the privilege to work with some of the world’s most influential brands, organizations, governments, and leaders in steering systemic transformation. Central to my work is the belief that smarter, fundamentally more regenerative ways of creating value will be embedded in the DNA of every business in the future. Throughout my journey, I’ve been appointed as a Fellow at the Blockchain Climate Institute, an Advisory Council Member of the World Economic Forum Global Shapers Community, and a Climate Reality Leader by former U.S. Vice President Al Gore. I’m also actively involved in numerous climate tech initiatives, from decentralized material passports to planetary AI and from startup ecosystems to climate tech transfer.
