About Luc Grenier

As a Mechanical Engineering student at Queen's University with a passion for engineering and innovation. I have a solid foundation in engineering design concepts and analysis, and have gained proficiency in SOLIDWORKS and Python, software tools for creating and testing mechanical models and simulations. I have also developed collaborative problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills through various projects and challenges at school and work. In addition to my education, I have over two years of experience in the aquatic industry, working as a swim instructor and a lifeguard at the City of Ottawa. I taught swimming skills and water safety to children and adults of various levels and abilities, and ensured the safety and well-being of the pool patrons and staff. I also worked as a general laborer at the Archdiocese of Ottawa-Cornwall - Hope Cemetery for four months, performing various tasks such as landscaping, maintenance, and burial preparation. Through these experiences, I have demonstrated reliability, responsibility, and adaptability in different work environments. I aspire to use my skills and knowledge to contribute to the advancement of technology and society.
