About Luc Heuff

I am very eager to learn, and love coming up with creative solutions. I value doing the right thing, and taking the time to reflect on the consquences of our actions. This means I try to be very critical of m own work, and often take steps back to take a look at the big picture and make sure we are still trying to solve the right problem. This allows me to keep an overview of complex situations, and add structure whenever necessary. I like working on innovative things, but it is important to me that those things actually achieve something. I am convinced that reality is the best place to learn, and hence want put solutions in practice as soon as possible, to see if they actually work. I am at my best in a goal-oriented environment that is already moving, but leaves plenty of room to discover the best way to do things. This is a flexible environment, with people around me that love trying new things as much as I do. It is very important to me that my work actually contributes to making the world a better place. In the end, I'm simply very curious and want to know how things work. To discover this, I have developed skills in statistical analysis, data visualisation, scientific research methods, machine learning and deep learning (using Python).
