Biomedical Engineer specializing in rehabilitation robotics, currently working in the Biorobotics sector at Fondazione Don Gnocchi in Milan. I am involved in the development, testing, and implementation of advanced technologies to optimize and enhance rehabilitation outcomes for patients with motor and cognitive disabilities, with a particular focus on exoskeletons, mixed/virtual reality systems and robotic/sensor-based devices.I have contributed to clinical projects such as testing lower limb exoskeletons in post-stroke patients and optimizing motorized orthoses for children with cerebral palsy, aiming to improve movement autonomy and overall quality of life.In my career, I have gained experience in applied research as a Student Researcher at NearLab Polimi, culminating in a master’s thesis on the development of kinematic-based strategies for intention detection and real-time control of an upper limb exoskeleton for rehabilitation. I am driven by the ambition to translate the potential of emerging technologies—such as robotics, virtual reality, and Intention Detection Strategies—into everyday clinical practice, turning innovation into tangible benefits for patients.I prefer collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote increasingly personalized and effective rehabilitation.
