About Luca Cappellari

My passion for chemistry started when I was only a child, playing with my grandma's colorful soaps and shampoos in her bathroom sink.I was attracted by the incredible way colors melted one into the other and I was so curious about them that my grandma became the corner shop's biggest customer!Since then, that passion has never really left me and I kept it up during high school and university.During my thesis internship I had the chance to work on polymers and I focused on new synthetic methods for biocompatible polyamidoamines. This was a relatively unexplored field and, as such, I had to deal with failures and learnt important lessons from them which, in the end, paid off entirely. When I started working right after university, my first years were crucial, as they ignited my passion even more and challenged me to solve real life problems by finding the most efficient and innovative solution. This new way of thinking allowed me to grow as a person and achieve discrete workplace successes which I am really proud of.Although I do not know where my passion will take me to in my career, I will keep improving myself with the ultimate goal of giving my active contribution to leaving a positive mark in our beautiful world.
