About Luca de Risi

I’m a hands-on leader in the SaaS industry, with a sense for driving profitable growth and making mergers work. I’m the Chief Operating Officer of Bizzdesign, a Private Equity backed SaaS company based in the Netherlands, with over 115M€ of revenues, that develops and sells software for Enterprise Transformation. I oversee Sales, Marketing and Customer Success, ensuring the connection between business strategy and execution. Prior to becoming COO in 2024, I was CEO of MEGA International, a French based SaaS company with 40M€ of revenues that merged with Bizzdesign and Alfabet, another competitor, in 2024. I now co-lead the merger of the three companies as Group COO. I built my experience through various roles and regions at MEGA, starting as a Presales engineer in France, and evolving to Project Director in North America, and Country Manager in Singapore, where I grew the region’s business by 4X, doubled the size of the team and developed a robust partner network across South East Asia. I have a passion for B2B sales. What I enjoy the most is the thrill of winning deals with the team, on the field, and imagining creative solutions to grow the business. Today, I dedicate most of my time to strategic market positioning, post-merger organization and business performance management. I believe in profitable growth and scalable business. I have lead MEGA’s transition to SaaS software, growing ARR from 15M€ to 25M€ in 5 years, and managed the impacts of the transition on internal organization, customer experience, pricing, and business monitoring. Through my international experiences I have developed a sense for cross-cultural business and management. A company is the sum of its talents, and managing a well aligned and motivated team is key to succeed.
