About Luca Gabardi

My name is Luca Gabardi. I was born on August 7, 1980, grew up in Cassano Magnago (VA), and have been living in Milan for several years. I’ve always done well in school—not out of obligation, but because I genuinely enjoy learning. That curiosity is still with me today: I’m interested in discovering new things, of all kinds. I hold a degree in Communication Sciences, but my education continues every day, through work and life. I worked for six years at the IULM University Foundation, where I was responsible for organizing postgraduate courses and managing research projects. For the past seven years, I’ve been at POLI.design, founded by the Politecnico di Milano, where I’ve worked first in communication, then in international affairs, and now in business development. What I do best- writing clearly and effectively- proposing new ideas and turning them into concrete projects- analyzing existing situations and finding ways to improve them. I speak Italian (native), English fluently, and enough Spanish and German to make myself understood. I use a computer daily to communicate, learn, and work. Still, I believe that having skills—these or others—is less important than being able to learn quickly when stimulated, to keep going without tiring easily, and to be demanding with oneself. That’s where I excel. I’ve traveled a lot, played many sports, and I’d like to keep doing both. I also enjoy reading, watching films and TV series, and listening to music. My goal is to constantly improve myself and, in the meantime, do something good to improve the world around me—while maintaining a healthy and sustainable lifestyle. You can easily find me online by searching my name.
