About Luca Riposati

I am a young mechanical engineer with a strong determination to grow and take on new challenges. More than a decade of playing volleyball has instilled in me the value of teamwork, communication, and managing group dynamics—skills I apply with enthusiasm in my professional life. I believe that a collaborative approach is essential to successfully tackling complex projects. During my academic journey, I discovered and cultivated two main passions: materials science and turbomachinery. I am fascinated by the world of materials—their properties, behaviors, and the critical role they play in engineering performance and innovation. Equally, turbomachinery captivates me for the rich interplay of disciplines it encompasses: from fluid dynamics to solid mechanics, from design and manufacturing to material selection and maintenance. This field challenges engineers to balance efficiency, reliability, and sustainability—something I find deeply engaging and motivating.
