As a materials engineer, my career has spanned various sectors, including: • Business to Business: Automotive (BorgWarner) and Construction (COES). • Business to Customer: IKEA. Areas of Expertise: • Technical definition of products, with a particular focus on the selection and evaluation of materials (metals and plastics). • Ensuring product conformity (structural and chemical) and obtaining approval from customers or third-party laboratories. • Certification processes, economic evaluation, and negotiation during purchasing activities. • Implementing quality policies and price reductions at the supplier level, with a focus on sustainability projects and scorecards. Leadership Experience: • Created and managed a product evaluation technical team, supervising internal laboratory analyses (metrology and failure analysis with S.E.M. and metallography methods). Sustainability Expertise: • Over the past few years, I have extended and continue to extend my skills in the field of sustainability through roles within my organization, training courses at the Polytechnic of Milan, and a Master’s in Sustainability at the Graduate School of Management (GSOM, ex-MIP).
