As a dedicated professional with a passion for cultural exchange and global connectivity, I bring a unique blend of teaching and consulting experience to my current role as a Travel Consultant at the Tokyo office of a British-based travel company. Here, I manage client relations and coordinate with suppliers, ensuring seamless travel experiences for our diverse clientele. Previously, I served as an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) on the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program, sponsored by the Japanese government. In this role, I played a key part in promoting the internationalization of English language education and fostering cross-cultural understanding within local communities. I designed and implemented educational programs that not only enhanced students’ English proficiency but also encouraged critical thinking and intercultural awareness. I am a proud graduate of Soka University of America, where the mission is to cultivate global citizens committed to contributing to society. This educational foundation, coupled with my multicultural background, has fueled my passion for travel and cultural exploration. Living and working in Tokyo has allowed me to immerse myself in the rich tapestry of Japanese culture while sharing my own experiences with others. Beyond my professional endeavors, I am deeply enthusiastic about making global cross-cultural connections. In my leisure time, I enjoy visiting stylish cafes and restaurants, attending music concerts and events with friends, and embarking on adventures to explore all 47 prefectures of Japan. I also enjoy visiting Japanese hot springs and baths, as well as participating in seasonal Japanese festivals. I also enjoy writing online blogs about Japanese culture. My diverse experiences and interests have not only enriched my personal life but also enhanced my ability to connect with clients from around the world, helping them discover the wonders of travel and cultural exchange. In addition, I also speak three languages fluently: English, Spanish, and Japanese; offering trilingual international language skills; which further enhance my ability to work in a truly international environment. With a strong commitment to helping others reach their full potential, I continuously seek effective ways for people to work together harmoniously.
