About Lucas E. Martins
Master of Science in Chemistry from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, during which I was awarded an M.Sc assistantship. The study goal was to assess PAHs' concentration in atmospheric particulate matter and atmospheric gaseous phase as well as their nitrated and oxygenated derivatives, which could be harmful to human health. Published and edited five chapters in Chemistry textbooks in Portuguese addressed to students and instructors. Worked on a research project with Dr. Dipesh Prema, Dr. John Church, and Dr. Tyler Turner at Thompson Rivers University with a full scholarship from the Brazilian Federal Government. The scholarship was given based on the academic achievements of undergraduate students.
