About Lucas Ely

Atlanta-based videographer and photographer with excellent communication skills and a knack for problem-solving. I am an extremely dedicated individual and love the opportunity to bring a creative vision or dream to life through photo and video. I am currently lead photographer and floor manager at Cady Studios. In addition to managing a team of photographers and overseeing daily operations of the Acworth location, I regularly step behind the camera and assist with event photography, portraits, athletic shoots, and miscellaneous video projects. I also work as a freelance videographer. I have filled roles ranging from production assistant to camera operator and everything in between. I feel at home on set and enjoy the collaborative nature of photo and video shoots. In addition to my photo/video experience, I minored in English with a focus in professional writing. This has helped me develop content creation and storyboarding skills which have proven invaluable over the course of my career. I am comfortable working both as a team player and a leader, and value gaining perspectives from the people I work with.
