About Lucas Greb

Since childhood, I have always had an unbridled excitement for, and interest in, chemistry, including theory, research, and findings. Upon graduating and entering the Georgia Tech Chemical Engineering program, I have consistently maintained a high GPA in major related classes, including Transport Phenomena, Separations, and Reactor Design. While participating in Magnet Biochemistry, I developed a topical analgesic based on capsaicin and linalool which derived from chili peppers and lavender. Upon creating a product that replicated the analgesic properties of capsaicin without the painful burn, I was captivated by the pharmaceutical/medical research industry, thereby interning at Vascular Surgical Associates. Furthermore, I have completed many community service projects over the years, proudly earning the rank of Eagle Scout based upon long term contributions and dedication to the Boy Scouts of America. Philanthropy has continued to be a large component my life through involvement in Phi Kappa Sigma fraternity, working with independent organizations directly such as Trees Atlanta and through raising funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society charity.
